The prison’s main power was out, the generator was only covering essentials, and a major inmate fight erupted after an old prisoner named Tug stirred everyone up, creating chaos that helped Joseph vanish. Guards insist no one left through the doors, but the prison is locked down and nearby roads are being blocked while officers search.

As Saint gets dressed, Himes says he is sending Peterson and Lina, but Saint offers to do what she can and immediately insists that Joseph is not a threat. Himes challenges that belief by reminding her that Joseph killed a man and by pointing out that Joseph’s daughter is in Saint’s care, raising the possibility that Joseph might come to her.
