Steve, Amy, and Rosie take stock of the case. They now know that the same woman collected Andrew Fairbanks and Bella Sanchez from the airport, that both carried identical bags, and that both were murdered and displayed afterward. They still hope to test the same pattern against Mark Gooch in Ireland, they still do not know who Francois Loubet really is, and they know that a man in Dubai has been ordered to kill Amy. A message from Ferdy saying Eddie Flood is heading to Fiji gives them temporary relief.

They then join a Zoom call with Tony Taylor, John Todd, and Dr Jyoti Das. The conversation is repeatedly delayed by joking about Steve missing the weekly quiz and the temporary replacement on the team, while Amy keeps steering everyone back to Tony's visit to Letchworth. Eventually Tony explains that Felicity has been earning about forty thousand pounds a month for the past two years, far above the five or six thousand she would normally expect.

Tony says Felicity barely has to do anything for the money beyond forwarding a few emails. Large amounts of post arrive for different companies, but someone else collects it, and Felicity recently met a new influencer even though that is unusual. When Steve and Amy ask whether Felicity knows Andrew Fairbanks, Bella Sanchez, or Mark Gooch, Tony says she does not. That makes Amy and Steve conclude that someone has been using Felicity's company as a front while hiding the real clients and operations from her.

Amy tells Tony that Felicity must send over everything she has, including accounts and emails, because the people behind the arrangement have already killed three people and are trying to kill Amy as well. Tony worries that Felicity could be endangered by helping them, and Steve answers that Felicity may already be in danger either way. Before the call ends, John and Jyoti mention another possible link: an influencer imprisoned in Dubai. Steve identifies her as Courtney Lewis, serving ten years in Al-Awir Prison. Since Steve plans to go to Ireland first, Amy says they do not need to travel to Dubai themselves and decides to text the newest member of their team.
