In a new note, François Loubet mocks a message from Joe Blow urging him not to kill Amy Wheeler. François treats the plea as absurd and states plainly that Amy has to die.

François then explains the logic behind Amy’s role in his murders. Because Amy once worked as his bodyguard through Maximum Impact, was trained to kill, and was easy to track, François chose Amy as a scapegoat when he arranged the murders of the three influencers through Rob Kenna and corrupt local police officers. François says he obtained Amy’s blood and had it placed at each crime scene so investigators could be steered toward Amy if necessary.

François identifies the flaw in that plan: Amy herself knows she did not commit the murders. As long as Amy is alive, she remains a risk because she can challenge the story. François therefore intends Amy’s death to complete the frame, after which he can alert the authorities to match the blood at the earlier scenes with Amy’s fresh corpse and close the case around her.

François notes that Amy still has not been killed, but says Rob Kenna understands that her death is the priority and knows he will be punished if he fails. François also decides that Joe Blow may need to be identified and killed later as another loose end.

Finally, François turns to his wider operation. He concludes that all ties to Maximum Impact must be cut, but he still intends to keep laundering money through influencers. Because Vivid Viral Media is fully under his control, François plans to continue using it to recruit more useful fools for the scheme.
