On Rosie D’Antonio’s terrace, Amy thinks through the strange pattern connecting Bella Sanchez, Mark Gooch, Andrew Fairbanks, and François Loubet. She plans to leave the island on the supply boat, get back to London through Savannah, and rely on Jeff for answers. Amy is uneasy, but she still believes she can identify who to trust and act before the danger closes in.

Kevin abruptly appears with a gun and orders Amy to the ground. He says Rosie is in her panic room and reveals that he has been paid to take Amy, despite knowing how dangerous Amy is. Kevin refuses to say who hired him, warns Amy not to mention Jeff again, and cleverly avoids getting close enough for Amy to overpower him. Forced to comply, Amy handcuffs herself behind her back while realizing she may be about to die.

Rosie then enters and shows that she now believes Amy may have brought trouble to the island. Kevin marches Amy toward the panic room, saying he is not taking Amy anywhere, implying that he means to kill her there. Amy reflects on her likely death and on the people who would mourn her. At the last moment, Amy sees in a mirror that Rosie has followed them, and Rosie smashes a trophy into Kevin’s head. Amy kicks Kevin’s gun away and escapes as Kevin fires, while Rosie slams the panic-room door shut and traps Kevin inside, where he cannot get out without the code.

Afterward, Amy and Rosie quickly repair their trust. Amy says she needs to get off the island and considers contacting the sheriff who found Andrew Fairbanks’s body. Rosie insists on coming, pointing out that the island is no longer safe. Amy explains that Fairbanks was found with a bag of money and admits that she and Jeff once worked for the money smuggler François Loubet. This makes Amy suspect that Loubet may be behind the attack, which means Jeff may also be in danger. Rosie decides to leave with Amy, telling her to gather coffee and ammunition while Rosie packs.
