As minutes drag on, Millie grows anxious and suspicious, replaying Enzo’s violent past and the ways he has kept secrets from her, and she crosses the street to watch through the windows.

Inside, Millie sees Enzo talking intently with the blond woman near the pickup counter. The woman’s eyes are puffy as if she has been crying, but she smiles at Enzo, and the exchange appears friendly. Millie worries about Enzo’s charm and motives, yet she cannot look away.
