Princess Donut writes an “official” Princess Posse fanclub newsletter as the team is about to begin the eighth floor. She frames the chapter as a recap of recent events, especially the sixth-floor arc and the Butcher’s Masquerade, while also promoting subscription perks.

Donut explains that on the sixth floor Carl temporarily handed the Gate of the Feral Gods to Orren the Liaison to keep Carl from “ruining the floor,” and in return they gained Sledgie and three rock-bodied guards as escorts for three floors. Donut also received a temporary Legendary Diva class, letting her cast spells through singing. The floor centered on hunters trying (and failing) to kill them; after the group killed Vrah’s sister, Vrah became a major enemy, and Carl later angered Vrah’s mother at CrawlCon, leading the mother to arrive on Earth as a god named Diwata.

As the danger escalated, Katia left the party to hunt her player-killer former friend Eva, eventually succeeding; Donut hopes Katia returns, now tied to Daniel Bautista. Donut notes preparations for a major event: the Butcher’s Masquerade at Queen Imogen’s high elf castle, featuring a talent contest and pet show for hunters and top crawlers. Several ongoing threads converged: Mongo met other dinosaurs including Kiwi; Carl’s contractual involvement with Signet’s revenge story against Queen Imogen continued; Prepotente lost Miriam Dom and traveled with Bianca; Florin pursued the mystery around Lucia Mar; and the party sought to help Big Tina, an allosaurus ballerina revealed to be Kiwi’s child. Ferdinand, Donut’s ex, reappeared as Queen Imogen’s pet.

At the Masquerade, the planned showdown arrives all at once: Signet finally kills Queen Imogen but must kill herself to complete the revenge, Mongo and Kiwi kill Vrah, and Donut helps kill Diwata using her “Laundry Day” spell while Carl kills the last hunter. Using fanclub funds, the group buys a spot on Faction Wars, and with Carl and Sledgie’s help they move Signet’s former allies, Kiwi and Tina, and the changelings into the castle before teleporting the entire high elf castle to the ninth floor, creating an “official army.” Carl and Donut become ninth-floor warlords, gaining the right to vote on Faction Wars outcomes; Carl pushes for truly lethal rules, despite skepticism.

Donut also reports major losses: Firas, Gideon, Gwendolyn Duet, and the Popov brothers die, though the Popovs later reappear as babies and are removed from the game, confirmed by Zev. A separate scandal fuels Donut’s outrage: crawler Tserendolgor allegedly steals the pet show ballot box and rigs the vote, giving the crown to her pet Garret instead of Mongo. Donut ends by noting that Prepotente “broke” the transition so the team effectively skipped from the sixth to the eighth floor (after Donut briefly took a Viper Queen class), and she admits she omitted several other developments while urging fans to keep paying dues.
