A level-130 city boss orisha, Asojano (Lord of Smallpox), forces his way into the saferoom, triggering an Interloper achievement and a bronze Stranger Danger box. Carl, Donut, Paz, Anton, and Sister Ines keep their distance from Asojano’s disease aura while the bar’s bopca panics. Asojano demands that Paz, as a santero, help him by repairing his shrine at the town’s central temple, claiming his presence is driving the ghommids mad and that fixing the shrine will let him leave.

A quest update confirms Asojano as the source of the “infection” and offers the options to repair the shrine, kill Asojano, or kill everyone. Paz stalls for details, and Asojano says they must exit at night when his power is greater, though the monsters will also be stronger. Anton considers flagging Asojano as his health drops on its own, but Sister Ines panics at the “false god” and begs Anton not to do it. Before anyone acts, Asojano opens the door, steps outside into the horde (which teleports away as it presses the threshold), regains health, and tells them to come tonight.

Back in their personal space, Donut argues against flagging Asojano due to the unbearable stench and instability of “Havana browns.” Carl reflects on Sister Ines’s fear of deities and decides it’s safest not to judge her, but still worries she may be unreliable. Mordecai prepares anti-undead bombs for the night sortie, while Li Jun’s team acquires supplies from a Desperado Club; Carl also wants to try flagging a regular ghommid later because their undead ice attack hit hard despite Carl’s resistance.

Carl and Donut open loot boxes: the Stranger Danger box contains a nonmagical expired tube of mace; Donut’s gold T’Ghee box yields a consumable snare card, Hobbled, which massively reduces a totem’s summoning time; and Donut’s platinum fan box gives The Bard’s Golden Throat, an enchanted headset microphone that AutoTunes singing, amplifies her voice, and boosts charisma when equipped. Carl’s own fan box reward is a crude massage coupon redeemable at the Desperado Club’s strip-club spas, to Donut’s delight. Meanwhile, Bomo and the cleaner bot reveal the room is messy from a snack-fueled gaming session.

Katia and Bautista arrive with Louis to check in; Louis mentions their group is in snowy Reykjavik and shows lingering grief over Firas’s death, while also reporting Britney’s scarred face hasn’t healed and that she is leveling aggressively on her own. Katia warns that Imani and Tserendolgor may seek to join their guild, which Donut opposes, and Louis complains that Samantha has been spamming him in chat. Katia shares excess utility cards from mass-killing “Lads,” giving Carl consumable Flee cards and others like Blue Stuff and Greased Lightning, before Zev interrupts to summon them all to upcoming shows.
