Kevin says he contacted Sydney this way because she keeps refusing to speak to him. Although Randy’s unexplained movements on the night of Bonnie’s murder still trouble her, she lets him inside. Randy, visibly nervous, tells Sydney he needs to show her something and makes her promise not to tell anyone; when he reaches into his pocket, Sydney reacts with dread, and the chapter ends before the reveal.
