Millie, Enzo, Ada, and Nico head to the beach after Suzette reluctantly allows the whole family to come along. Millie looks forward to visiting the exclusive private beach that requires a special access card, even though she assumes Suzette tried to prevent them from going.

On the drive, Enzo speeds far above the posted limit, brushing off Millie’s request to slow down. Nico sides with Enzo and teases Millie about driving too slowly, while Millie notes the local culture seems to expect drivers to exceed the speed limit.

As Enzo exits the expressway, a police siren sounds behind them and Enzo pulls over. Ada worries Enzo might be arrested, while Nico thinks it would be exciting.

A bored officer asks for Enzo’s license and registration and confirms Enzo was speeding. Enzo claims he had to drive fast because the gas tank is nearly empty, and the officer ultimately lets him off with a warning to get gas and slow down.

After the officer leaves, Enzo smugly tells Millie it was easy, implying he manipulated the situation. Millie reflects that Enzo has always been an excellent liar, but it now unsettles her because she suspects Enzo has been hiding something from her.
