On Katarina Shaw's first night at the Lin Ice Academy, exhaustion does not bring sleep. The modern white dorm room feels alien and unsettling, and the unfamiliar sounds of Los Angeles keep Katarina tense. Heath Rocha's absence also weighs on Katarina, making the separation imposed by the academy immediately feel difficult.
