Paula introduces herself as the mother with the screaming baby and reveals that Cherry also gave her a prediction—that her baby Timmy would drown at age seven.

The two women bond over their shared predicament. Eve explains her plan to find Cherry and bribe her with a hundred dollars to give a different prediction, inspired by her father once bribing a tarot card reader. Paula questions whether this would work, especially given that Cherry has now correctly predicted three deaths. Eve insists Cherry is a fraud, pointing out the absurdity of the "intimate partner homicide" prediction given that Dom would never hurt her.
