After Signet's sacrifice and the castle's transfer to the ninth floor, everyone left behind hangs frozen in midair above a bramble-choked ruin. The AI turns the aftermath into a four-team boss battle between the crawlers, the surviving hunters, Queen Imogen's elite elves, and Diwata. Carl immediately prioritizes targets: Florin and the others are told to use timed, nonmagical blunt attacks against Imogen, while Carl, Donut, Katia, and Imani move to execute the prepared plan against Diwata.

When the freeze ends, mantis nymphs swarm, hunters splatter, and the remaining fighters fall into the castle's exposed basement. Smoke, poison, debuffs, and friendly buffs fill the dark pit as everyone crashes into a melee of bugs, elves, hunters, and loose dinosaurs. Carl uses Protective Shell to create a brief safe zone so the crawlers can regroup, but the battle keeps breaking apart. During the push toward Diwata, Carl is badly shot, Donut's healing song saves him, and a flaming elf mount hurled by Imogen kills Dmitri and Maxim Popov in front of him.

To get Donut into position, Katia gives Carl the Apothecary's beanie so he can clear a path through the mass of nymphs. Donut reports that her temporarily boosted charisma is finally making her love-vampire skill work on elves, then takes Carl's Pawna's Tears potion to push Laundry Day to the needed level 15. Carl charges the pile of bugs, uses the beanie's spell to blast them aside, and reaches Diwata with Donut and Mongo. Donut casts Laundry Day on Circe Took, and because the goddess is functioning as soul armor around a mortal host, the spell strips Diwata away from Circe instead of attacking the god directly. Diwata is sent back to the Halls of Ascendency, and the now-unprotected Circe is immediately torn apart by her own children.

Diwata's team is eliminated, but the arena's repeated area attacks keep escalating, and one blast drops Donut to zero health until her cockroach skill saves her. Carl then hunts the last surviving hunter, Zabit. When Zabit turns invisible, Carl remembers the hunter's gear and uses Tripper, triggering Zabit's own hidden landmines and blowing him apart. After looting the body, Carl realizes the cost of the fight: Gwendolyn Duet and Cleiton are dead, and Tran survives only after Carl heals him, though Tran's legs are gone.

In the final phase, the surviving crawlers concentrate on Imogen, coordinating arrows, rocks, and Florin's gunfire to overwhelm her repeatedly refreshed shields. Carl tries to interfere with Imogen's next lightning spell by throwing a hobgoblin disco ball, but the attack instead detonates a mass of butterflies above the group and blasts Carl, Donut, Mongo, and Britney apart. As Carl fades out, he sees Bianca flying overhead with Prepotente jumping into the fight carrying potions. The chapter ends with the arena declaring a winner and the quest The Vengeance of the Daughter complete.
