Lukas does not pull away when Victoria, Bree, Bella, and Pen find him kissing Scarlett. Scarlett pushes him back, and the group confronts them. Pen, trembling and hurt, accuses Scarlett of wanting to replace her and of taking both her boyfriend and her gold medal.

Lukas presses for honesty, revealing that he and Pen ended their relationship months earlier and kept it quiet at Pen’s request. Victoria, Bree, and Bella withdraw, leaving the three to argue. Pen says seeing them together is painful; Lukas counters that Pen knew and even pushed them together, insisting his commitment to Scarlett is real.

Overwhelmed, Scarlett retreats toward the locker room. Lukas follows, reassuring her and calling Pen’s reaction possessiveness, then confesses he has been in love with Scarlett and wants a future together. When the intensity becomes too much, Scarlett says stop and asks for time to process. Lukas respects her boundary, acknowledges she holds the power, kisses her forehead, and leaves.
