Morning finds Millie and Andrew in the guest room after Nina’s departure. Andrew says he wants to try a real relationship and that Millie can no longer be his maid, promising to hire someone else and inviting her to stay as long as she needs. Millie worries about her record and employment options, but Andrew reassures her, and she allows herself to hope, despite fearing Nina might return.

As Millie tries to rest, her phone twice shows calls from a blocked number. Suspecting Nina, she rejects the call and goes to shower, unsettled but determined to enjoy her tentative new normal.

Downstairs, Andrew, already dressed for work, complains that the landscaper, Enzo, is always around. He confronts Enzo outside and abruptly fires him. Enzo accepts without protest, appearing indifferent, and Andrew heads back inside, satisfied to remove someone he views as intrusive.

Once Andrew reenters the house, Enzo grabs Millie’s arm and urgently warns, “You are in terrible danger,” adding that Nina is not gone. His suddenly fluent English and muted accent contradict how he has spoken before, suggesting he has been hiding competency. Andrew reappears and interrupts, and Enzo retreats to gather his tools. Millie, shaken and marked by Enzo’s grip, is left with a renewed sense that the threat from Nina—and perhaps something else—is far from over.
