As she plays, Jo briefly rediscovers the joy and “magic” of making music, feeling less empty than she has in a long time.

The telepathic link with "Sasha" warms back to life, and he listens as Jo experiments at the piano. At his encouragement, Jo hums a dissonant chord to capture her mood, and Sasha hums along, adding a hook that helps a melody take shape. The moment evokes Jo’s childhood duets with Wyn.
