She smashes through the warded door and interrupts Amren and Varian in bed, then orders Varian out so she can confront Amren alone. Nesta accuses Amren of voting against telling her what she can do, and the argument quickly turns personal.

Amren answers with cold anger, saying Nesta has done nothing to prove she can handle such dangerous power and reminding Nesta that she rejected Amren’s earlier attempts to help her learn control.
