She replays bird’s-eye surveillance footage and watches the tiara-wearing woman stand motionless until a phone call prompts her to splash liquid on her coat and pull out a small silver rod resembling a spear.

The woman drifts across the empty bridge in a trance-like manner. A jogging man approaches, tries to speak to her, then suddenly panics and sprints away. Dana rewinds, puzzled, and switches on an autotrack function to keep the cameras locked on the woman.

Near the statue of St. Augustine, the woman checks that she is alone, then discards her spiked tiara and the metal rod into the river. She changes her appearance by putting on a white wool cap, removing her black coat to reveal a heavy red sweater, and leaving the folded coat at the statue like an offering before slipping down a staircase off the bridge.

Dana fast-forwards through archived footage as the woman wanders through Kampa Park, buys coffee, and takes another phone call. Immediately afterward, the woman rushes back to Charles Bridge and heads toward Křižovnická Street; the playback switches to “LIVE,” revealing Dana is now watching her in real time.

The woman enters Prague’s Four Seasons Hotel. Dana then notices a diplomatically plated Audi A7 outside and watches Michael Harris step out and go in as well, confirming Dana’s suspicion that Harris is involved. Inside, the Four Seasons manager—fresh from a discreet call with the U.S. ambassador—greets Harris, verifies his embassy ID, and gives him a key to Langdon’s Royal Suite to retrieve items, while the disguised woman in the red sweater follows Harris upstairs unnoticed.
