Accepting Micah’s narrative, she concludes Danika murdered the Pack of Devils and the CCU students, then herself, and that Bryce bears a share of the blame. Hours pass as she stares blankly, repeating that it cannot be true.

Fury returns and quietly updates Ruhn: Hunt is held beneath the Comitium. Justinian is crucified in the lobby, his healing suppressed so he bleeds out slowly. Micah ripped Viktoria’s essence from her body into a glass box placed at the crucifix’s base, with plans to sink it into the Melinoë Trench, condemning her to isolation and madness.
