The gates open, and Ithan Holstrom appears, coldly taking charge of escorting them.

As Ithan leads them through the villa, Bryce recalls his history, Connor’s death, and Ithan’s embittered messages after the murders. He informs them the Prime is napping and that Sabine will meet them, maintaining a contemptuous distance as Hunt subtly displays lightning to keep him in check.

In Sabine’s office, Bryce and Hunt seek confirmation that Danika had been stationed at Luna’s Temple the night the Horn was stolen. Sabine insults Bryce and flatly denies Danika was at the temple—an assertion that contradicts Bryce and Hunt’s intel, effectively exposing a lie. Bryce breaks off the meeting before she loses control, leaving Sabine seething.

On the stairs, Bryce tells Ithan the murders have started again and urges caution; he gives nothing away but keeps her number. In the reception hall, Bryce encounters the Prime, whose sad kindness undoes her, and she bolts. Outside, Ithan says she never deserved Connor and warns Sabine wants her dead; Bryce fires back that Connor would be ashamed of Amelie’s leadership. Hunt escorts Bryce away as Amelie and her pack jeer from the gates.
