Josh leaves, removes his mask outside, waves at neighbor Wendy, and drives back into the city. Watching Aly track him on his phone, he deliberately drives a route that spells out "LOL," then drops the tracker on the road. Aly, enraged, looks into the camera and reveals she knows he is Josh: she pulled hairs from his sweatshirt and plans to DNA-test them against his bloody bandages before yanking the camera offline.

However, Josh smugly reveals he had taken that sweatshirt from Tyler's dirty laundry, anticipating exactly this move. He drives home laughing, eager to see Aly's reaction when the DNA fails to match and she realizes she's been outmaneuvered again.
