A bomb obliterates the Lost Wee Den. Darrow hauls the Jackal from the blast and escapes as the building collapses. Following a salvaged datapad’s coordinates, he steals a Gray craft and reaches a hidden factory, where he’s seized and brought to a lab run by Mickey under Sons of Ares control.

Darrow confronts Evey, who planted the bomb, for slaughtering innocents; Mickey, cowed and exhausted, is revealed as a captive Carver. Harmony arrives and announces Dancer is dead, murdered after a Gray betrayal. She oversees a program to carve stronger Red fighters and dismisses Darrow’s moral objections as weakness.

They argue tactics and purpose. Harmony recounts Titus’s origin and accuses Darrow of forgetting the enslaved; Evey reveals the Pinks’ indoctrination and pain device, Cupid’s Kiss, to justify terror. Darrow insists random violence only strengthens Gold, demanding to speak with Ares; Harmony refuses.

Harmony unveils Ares’s plan: a synchronized uprising of hundreds of bombings and assaults timed to the Summit gala in three nights. She orders Darrow to carry a concealed radium bomb to kill the Sovereign and assembled leaders. Darrow refuses, warning the Society will annihilate them in reprisal.

To force his hand, Harmony plays raw footage of Eo’s hanging. In the unedited audio, Eo whispers to her sister, Dio, to hide a homemade crib and keep secret that Eo was pregnant, believing the truth would break Darrow. The revelation shatters him.
