Darrow leads a direct assault on Olympus, capturing multiple Proctors and forcing a showdown with Jupiter. After a brutal pursuit and duel, Sevro’s invisibility turns the fight, crippling Jupiter. With the armory seized and Venus House armed, Olympus falls and Mustang is recovered, shattering Proctor impunity.
Summary
Darrow arms himself with Apollo’s gear, sends Thistle for reinforcements, and airlifts his Howlers onto Olympus. They breach the upper balcony and rooms, subduing Venus in her chambers and binding her despite her protests. Driven by Mustang’s abduction and Proctor interference, Darrow orders a hunt for Jupiter while pushing deeper.
The Howlers sweep the spire: Juno is dragged from the baths after breaking Clown’s arm, Vulcan is captured mid–holo viewing of Cassius and the Jackal, and both are bound. Darrow’s forces clash with Grays and unruly students; Tactus kills two Greys. Scouts spread to locate targets as Darrow’s fury steadies into focus—Jupiter, Pluto, Mercury, and Minerva remain.
Mercury, drunk and dazzling with a razor, maims several before Darrow breaks his arm and stuns him, only to spot armored Jupiter and Minerva advancing. Forced into retreat through corridors, Darrow reengages Jupiter, trading wounds before tackling him through a window into the snow below. On the slopes, Jupiter boasts of the Governor’s coming Crows; Darrow counters by threatening to broadcast their corruption.
Darrow discards his weapons to bait Jupiter, and Sevro, invisible in Apollo’s ghostCloak, hamstrings and disarms the Proctor. They haul Jupiter back as the battle turns: Milia announces the armory’s discovery, Venus House surges out newly armed, and Olympus falls. With the Proctors bound and momentum secured, Mustang is found.
