The next day, Sylvia tells Professor Nash about her day out. He warns her that the Medici Manuscript could be a fake, produced to make money off eager buyers.
Francis Stray, a mathematician and old school friend of Gabe's, visits. He had been attempting to decode the Medici Manuscript, but was unable.
Professor Nash and Sylvia discuss putting the potentially fake manuscript on public display to generate donations for the museum and possibly find someone who can decipher it.
